Seller Inspections

Pre-Listing or sellers home inspections are not as well known as the buyer’s inspection but they are the same! Yes, it is true; we do the exact same inspection for the seller as we would do for the buyer. The only difference is the timing and timing in this case is peace of mind. When the seller has an inspection done before the house hits the market, he’s armed with the knowledge of everything that’s right about the house, and also everything that’s wrong. He can make arrangements to repair what needs it, and move forward with the confidence that nothing scary will emerge during the buyer’s inspection.

New Construction Inspections

If you are buying a newly built or custom built home, having an inspection before closing is essential.

A New Construction Inspection will determine whether all the systems and components of your new home are operating as intended and notify you of any health or safety issues.

If any problems exist, you can require the builder to make repairs or corrections before you take possession. We can also do this type of inspection at the 11th-month mark, just before your 12-month builder warranty expires.

Thermal Imaging

The use of Infrared Technology is an important addition to moisture assessments and visual observations as it identifies temperature anomalies that could indicate areas with hidden sources of mold growth and water damage. This information source should be considered an enhancement to visual observations and a screening method to investigate moisture intrusions. Additional findings of thermal anomalies may be detected which have no moisture-related connection despite the observed temperature differential. These observed anomalies could be caused by improperly installed or missing building insulation or by air entering/exiting the building.

IR Home Performance Assessment

You will receive a ‘whole-house’ Infrared Inspection starting with an interior IR assessment of each room inside of the house. We show and document for you the good and the bad results pertaining to cold air intrusion and moisture related locations, as well as any other IR observable interior anomalies. Also, the exterior of the building enclosure, the outside surfaces, will be scanned for heat loss locations. Fleet telematics monitors location, movements, status of fleet vehicles in real-time. We provide you with Infrared Images of the air leakage occurring in your home for documentation and help you save energy and money.
